Participants will receive guidance on the sacred context of Rapéh, energetic preparation, proper administration techniques, supervised practice, and the responsibility required when working with this medicine.

Your Guide

Meet Taheera Saahir

Taheera Saahir

Taheera Saahir is an Initiated Shaman and Master Spiritualist, Energy Healer, former clinically trained therapist, and founder of Oasis in the Mountains Healing Sanctuary in the Dominican Republic. With over eight years of apprenticeship in Amazonian medicine traditions, she carries a depth of wisdom earned through direct initiation and sustained study of Rapé, Sananga, Kambo, and other sacred healing modalities.

Her foundation was shaped by powerful lineage. She was initiated into ancestralization and elemental technology through the elder Malidoma Patrice Somé, trained in jungle medicines through an Iboga shaman named Leo, and properly initiated into the wisdom of Rapé through her former mentor and Ayahuasca shaman, Joel. She does not borrow from any tradition. Through these initiations she was able to access her own lineage and cosmology, and it is from that place of sovereignty that she teaches the medicines.

Holding Master's Degrees in Psychology and Professional Counseling, Taheera bridges traditional healing wisdom with modern understanding of the nervous system, trauma, and human transformation. Over years of practice she has guided hundreds of individuals in cultivating greater clarity, presence, emotional regulation, and spiritual connection, and today she works primarily with spiritually mature women, leaders, and founders ready to translate that inner work into embodied leadership and sustained growth.

Her approach to Rapé is rooted in reverence, integrity, and direct experience, emphasizing sacred protocol, practitioner ethics, energetic awareness, and the ceremonial foundations that support this powerful medicine. Through the Rapé Practitioner Training, she offers a grounded and transformative pathway for those called to deepen their relationship with the medicine and serve others with confidence and respect.
